“Junior Dubai Desert Classic” obtains the world golf rankings


The organizers of the “Hero Dubai Desert Classic” golf tournament announced the return of the “Junior Dubai Desert Classic” tournament for juniors, with the third edition, which for the first time received the accreditation of the world classification for amateur golfers.

The Dubai Desert Classic tournament will be held in partnership with the Golf Association from January 10 to 12, 2025, at the Emirates Golf Club.

Next year’s tournament – open to boys and girls in the under-18 category, where participants will compete in a 54-hole system, which represents an increase compared to the previous system consisting of only 36 holes, for the first time – will see the use of the global classification system for amateur players.

The first two rounds of the tournament will be held at Faldo Stadium, before the participants head towards the final round, where the best 40 players will compete on the fully equipped lanes at Al Majlis Stadium, a few days before the start of the 36th edition of the prestigious “Hero Dubai Desert Classic” tournament from 16 to 16. Next January 19.
