Karim Ramy wins bronze in Kata at Asian Karate Championship


Karim Rami, a player in our national karate team, won today the bronze medal in the Kata competition in the 22nd edition of the Asian Karate Championship for Juniors and Youth, currently being held in the Philippines.

Rami achieved the bronze medal after a strong performance throughout his participation in this competition, as he defeated the champions of the Philippines in the round of 16, and Thailand in the quarter-finals, and lost in the semi-finals to the champion of Japan by a small margin of points, before succeeding in defeating the champion of Iraq in the match to determine third place to win the bronze medal at the continental level.
