His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, met today with Christopher Lacson, Prime Minister of New Zealand, on the sidelines of the activities of “Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2025”.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral friendship and cooperation relations between the UAE and New Zealand, and ways to strengthen and develop them to serve common interests.
The meeting discussed the importance of partnership and cooperation between the two countries to support sustainable development, benefit from cooperation opportunities in the economic and investment fields, and exchange experiences and knowledge in various fields.
The meeting also discussed the importance of “Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week” as a global event that brings together leaders, experts and specialists in the fields of sustainability and climate action, to discuss ways to move forward in implementing plans, programs and initiatives aimed at ensuring a more sustainable future for future generations.
The meeting was attended by Ahmed Ali Al-Sayegh, Minister of State; Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi; Rashid Matar Al Qamzi, UAE Ambassador to New Zealand.
