Masa Adnan, champion of the women’s race in the President’s Endurance Cup


Equestrian Masa Adnan presented Al Wathba Stables with the title of the women’s endurance race, which was held yesterday for a distance of 100 km, at the Boudheib Endurance Village, and was organized by the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, with the participation of 127 female jockeys, on the second day of the activities of the His Highness the President of the State Endurance Cup races.

The champion was able to snatch the title on the horse “Rangar”, covering the total distance of the race in a time of 3:35:40 hours, with an average speed of 27.90 km/hour, while the female jockey Afnan Ibrahim came in second place on the horse “Baraka Al-Jido” for the Commando Stables, scoring 3: 35:45 hours, while the horsewoman Hind Khaled Al-Rida came in third place on the horse “Beaulieu Ouzou” for Stables. “MRM” with a time of 3:35:46 hours.

A press statement stated that the race witnessed strong competition since its inception, as the differences between the female riders remained very small, which made the competition open until the final meters of the last stage, with the experienced female rider, Massa Adnan, winning the decision, seconds away from the runner-up and third-place finisher.

The race was witnessed and the winners were crowned by the Executive Director of the Emirates Equestrian Federation, Ahmed Al Suwaidi, the Director of the Support Services Department at the Federation, Abdullah Al Naqbi, and the Director of Events at the Boudheib International Endurance Village, Mohammed Al Junaibi.

The activities of the Cup of His Highness the President of the State will conclude this morning with the Race of the Giants, a distance of 100 km, consisting of four stages. The first stage is 30.10 km long in orange, followed by a 60-minute rest period. The second stage begins in blue and is 30 km long, followed by a rest period for 60 minutes. 50 minutes.

The third stage begins in green and is 20.20 km long, followed by a 50-minute rest period, after which the fourth and final stage begins, which is marked in white and is 20 km long.

The village will witness two qualifying races on Tuesday, the first an international race for a distance of 100 km, and the second an international one for a distance of 120 km.
