The organizing committee of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic 2025 golf tournament announced the launch of its competitions, from January 16 to 19, at the Emirates Golf Club, with the participation of the world’s elite stars.
The committee confirmed that defending champion Rory McIlroy will lead a lineup of stars that includes Viktor Hovland, Jon Rahm, and Tommy Fleetwood, alongside major tournament champions such as Padraig Harrington, Patrick Reed, and Adam Scott, in addition to Rolex Series winners Robert McIntyre and Nicolai Hoggard.
According to a statement issued yesterday, preparations are underway to stage the event in the best possible way, and rising stars Akshay Bhatia and David Ford, the top seed on the PGA Universities Tour, will join the tournament for the first time.
Talent such as Rasmus Hoggard, Lauri Kanter, Jordan Smith and Matt Wallace will also join, what promises to be an exciting week at the famous Council Stadium.
