Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Rwanda, Alfred Gasana, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two friendly countries in the fields of security and counter-terrorism, during the activities of the World Government Summit 2024, which was held in Dubai during the period from 12 to 14 February.
The memorandum focuses on strengthening the frameworks of cooperation between the two countries in the areas of combating all types of crimes, and exchanging information in order to enhance the reduction of crimes in all their forms, in a way that achieves the interests of both parties in enhancing security and community prevention. The memorandum also enhances the cooperation of the two countries in the areas of training, courses and joint programs in the areas of police and security work.
