His Highness stressed that this achievement reflects the ambitious vision of the UAE in strengthening its pioneering position within the developed countries in space science and technology, praising the spirit of creativity and dedication that characterizes the work team, and its contribution to translating the aspirations of the rational leadership into a tangible reality.

This came during the reception of His Highness as a delegation from the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, in the presence of Omar bin Sultan Al -Ulama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and remote work applications, Dr. Sultan Al -Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and the team, Talal Hamid Balal Al -Falasi, Vice President of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space, Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Center’s Board of Directors, Salem Hamid Al Marri, Director General of the Center, members of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, and the mission of the mission of the satellite “Mohammed bin Zayed Sat”.

The team has succeeded in achieving the specifications and standards required for the space sector through partnerships with local companies such as Strata, Falcon, Halcon, the International UAE of aluminum, Ruckford Zelarx and EBI.

This cooperation resulted in the manufacture of 90% of the mechanical structure, and most of the electronic units of the artificial moon within the UAE.

The team also reviewed the last days before the launch, as the launch team worked for a period of 50 days at the Vandenberg Air Force Base within the facilities of “SpaceX”, and they conducted extensive tests to ensure the readiness of the satellite for the launch.

The team also provided an explanation about the details of the launch process, starting with the separation of the satellite from the “Falcon 9” missile, to the stage of testing and operation, where the efficiency of the work of all the satellite systems was confirmed.
