To raise the quality of life of citizens, enhance their well-being, and provide development opportunities for young people, these plans are being developed in the areas of “Al Mizhar 1”, “Al Khawaneej 2”, “Al Barsha 2”, and “Hatta”. Al Tayer stressed that the plans for developing these areas and neighborhoods are being carried out in accordance with the highest and latest international standards used in city and neighborhood planning, in order to create model neighborhoods that combine the advanced features of modern cities, and preserve the character, identity and privacy of Dubai’s neighborhoods, pointing to the adoption of the highest and latest international standards followed in The field of planning cities and modern neighborhoods, while preserving the privacy of Dubai neighborhoods and their unique character, with the aim of creating modern model neighborhoods that preserve the identity that distinguishes each Dubai neighborhood.

He added: “The Supreme Committee for Urban Planning in Dubai works to organize and govern urban planning in the emirate, and implement the outcomes of the Dubai Urban Plan 2040 project, which was approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, last year.”

The first meeting of the Supreme Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs witnessed the formation of seven work tracks within the committee, with the participation of 10 government agencies, and a comprehensive plan for the social sector within two months.

The development of an integrated platform dedicated to all services provided to citizens in the Emirate of Dubai will also begin, while a comprehensive plan is being formulated to develop the countryside and remote areas, which will be announced next September.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum approved an increase in the amount of financial benefits provided to the most needy groups of citizens of the emirate, an increase of 58% over last year, to reach about 438 million dirhams, distributed to beneficiaries registered with the Development Authority. community, and new cases.

The committee aims to develop a clear action plan in the Emirate of Dubai, in cooperation with the private, public and semi-governmental sectors, follow up on its implementation with the relevant authorities, and ensure the achievement of the goals set by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for this file.

A development plan will also be drawn up for the countryside and residential neighborhoods for citizens, raising the quality of life there, following up on this with the concerned authorities, and raising a set of development initiatives and policies for the file of retirees in Dubai, with the aim of providing economic opportunities for them, and developing exceptional and innovative ideas and projects, to enhance the well-being of citizens in a tangible and non-trivial way. preceded.
