Ramadan discounts up to 70% on furniture and home and electrical tools


Local markets are witnessing early discounts in rates of up to 70%, on the occasion of the approaching month of Ramadan.

A tour of “Emirates Today” in a number of commercial shopping centers showed that the cuts included furniture and furnishings, decoration supplies, home appliances, electrical appliances, clothes, bags and sports shoes, and others.

Two commercials officials said that the discounts aim to meet the needs of consumers before Ramadan, sufficiently at a time and at reason Al -Fitr, indicating the rise in sales in rates of up to 40% during the discounts.

In detail, the consumer, Malik Al -Khatib, said: “Furniture stores, furnishings and decorative supplies were launched, which have branches in a number of the emirates of the state, early discounts of up to 70% on the occasion of the approaching month of Ramadan.”

He added that the offers include different commodities, at remarkably high discounts, pointing to the offering of shops as well, offers for cash recovery with values ​​of up to 500 dirhams, in the event that it purchases not covered furniture in downloads of 1000 dirhams or more, which encouraged him to buy.

For its part, the consumer Fatima Khalil said that “the cuts that come on the occasion of the approaching month of Ramadan are 70%, and include several goods, most notably: clothes, bags and shoes, especially sports.”

She confirmed that the discounts included great discounts, which allowed them to buy at reasonable prices.

As for the consumer Amal Salim, she said that “the discounts included home tools, electrical appliances and decorative supplies, at rates of up to 50%, with special recovery offers, which allowed them to buy at reasonable prices before the beginning of the Holy Month.”

In addition, the official manager in one of the shops, Irfan Ismail, said: “The discounts aim to meet the needs of consumers, before Ramadan, with sufficient time and reasonable prices.” He added: «There is an increase in sales in rates of up to 40%, since the start of the cuts, during the past few days as a result of the rates of high discounts and the great diversity of offers.

For its part, the sales officer in a commercial store confirmed that “the discounts aim to meet the needs of consumers before entering the month of Ramadan, sufficiently at reasonable prices.”

And she continued: “There are several families that focus on buying food supplies during Ramadan, and they want to renew home appliances and buy new clothes, before Eid Al Fitr.”

She confirmed that the discounts led to the increase in sales in rates between 30% and 40%.

For his part, the expert in retail, Davi Nagphal, advised consumers to review their budgets well before buying, and not buying goods they do not need, just because they are “reduced”.

He added that the periods of Ramadan and Eid are generally witnessing an increase in spending on food commodities, clothes, entertainment and travel, and the purchase of any commodities that the person may not really need, which presses the family budget, and may expose them to an unjustified financial hardship, especially if they are with high values, and it can be postponed Buying it to another time.
