Real Madrid defeats Osasuna on “Vinicius Day”

Vinicius Junior scored three goals (a hat-trick) to lead Real Madrid to return to winning ways and beat its guest, Osasuna, 4-0, yesterday, in the 13th round of the Spanish League.

Real ended the first half ahead with goals from Vinicius Junior in the 34th minute and Bellingham (42), and in the second half, Vinicius scored (61 and 64).

Despite the victory, the curse of injuries haunted Real Madrid, as coach Carlo Ancelotti was forced to make three substitutions, bringing in Brahim Diaz and Raul Asensio instead of Rodrigo and Militao, before bringing in Luka Modric instead of Lucas Vazquez. Real Madrid raised its score to 27 points, in second place, six points behind Barcelona.
