Reducing the content of “mathematics and physics” for ninth to twelfth students

The Ministry of Education announced the update of the educational plan for the subjects of mathematics and physics for grades nine to twelve in the general track, for the second and third semesters of the academic year 2024-2025, as it focuses on reducing the educational content in both subjects.

The Ministry said that the updated educational plan focuses on organizing the teaching and learning process in line with modern educational trends, calling on all government schools to implement the updated plan for the subjects of mathematics and physics, as it targets grades from nine to twelfth in the general track in mathematics, while grades from ten To the twelfth grade in physics.

The Ministry stated that the updated plan was published via the Smart Learning Portal (LMS), to be accessible to all concerned, as teachers can access it easily, stressing school administrations and specialists the importance of reviewing this plan and implementing it in line with modern educational trends, stressing that it will be Follow up on the actual implementation of the updated educational plan, and ensure that schools respond to it in an optimal manner.

In a related context, the Ministry of Education is working to raise the efficiency of government schools, achieve the quality of school operations, and improve its various tracks in a way that is in the interest of the student and achieves quality outcomes, as it circulated to the schools of the school operations sector in Dubai and the northern regions, two questionnaires containing 50 questions for parents and students of the second and third cycles. This is within the framework of strengthening their effective partnership with educational decision makers and improving the quality of operational processes in schools.

The Ministry explained that it pays great attention to all proposals in the educational field, especially those coming from students and parents, considering that these opinions are an integral part of the trends to improve the quality of education and raise the efficiency of schools.

The Ministry confirmed that the questionnaires will be available for participation via the LMS platform, as they were designed so that they do not take more than 10 minutes to complete, and it was keen for the questions to be comprehensive and cover all aspects of the educational process.

Through these questionnaires, the Ministry focuses on collecting accurate and realistic data that enables it to make systematic decisions that contribute to the quality of the educational environment, by analyzing its results, which enables it to identify areas that need development and improvement, and activate appropriate solutions and treatments.

The Ministry confirmed that it will remain in constant communication with all concerned parties to ensure the implementation of the opinions that will be extracted from these questionnaires, with the aim of enhancing the role of parents and students in providing distinguished education that suits their needs and aspirations, calling on everyone to actively participate in these questionnaires.
