The Securities and Commodities Authority announced yesterday that it had succeeded in eliminating government bureaucracy in 12 major services it provides, as part of its firm commitment to achieving the goals of the “Zeroing Government Bureaucracy” program.
The Authority affirmed, in a statement, its constant keenness to reduce burdens and cancel many unnecessary procedures, based on its commitment to implementing government initiatives that improve the level of services provided, including the implementation of the “Government Services Development Guide 2.0”, which represents a qualitative shift in methodologies for planning and designing services from a comprehensive and integrated perspective, in addition to its recent completion of a study to re-engineer all its services.
The Authority’s CEO, Dr. Mariam Butti Al Suwaidi, said that the Authority’s Board of Directors always seeks to develop the Authority’s services to be highly efficient, exceeding customers’ expectations, and reaching them quickly and easily.
Al Suwaidi praised the Authority’s success in eliminating government bureaucracy in 12 main services it provides, by reducing procedures, reducing the time required to complete services, and eliminating unnecessary documents.
She pointed out that this success comes as a result of the participatory climate between the Authority and the employees of licensed companies, where direct meetings were held, questionnaires and discussions were conducted, ideas were exchanged and suggestions were collected related to developing and improving the Authority’s services, raising their quality level and achieving the initiative of the wise government in eliminating government bureaucracy.
