Sharjah and Al -Ahly youth .. «Summit – 2» the key to Asia

Al-Ahly youth will come at 10 pm today as a guest at the Sharjah Stadium, to face its Sharjah team in the second leg in the quarter-finals of the “AFC Champions League 2” football, as the two teams seek to resolve the qualification card to the semi-finals, after the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw, last Wednesday.

This is the second match in a series of five confrontations imposed on the two teams within one month in a rare case globally, while the two teams also met this season in the first round of the ADNOC Professional League, and Al -Ahly youth won two goals against a goal.

And today’s repeated match within a week, it is an Emirati summit in an Asian format, in every sense of the word, and also a new challenge between the coaches of the two teams, the Romanian Olario Cosmin, the coach of Sharjah, and the Portuguese Paulo Souza, Al -Ahly youth coach, in order to kidnap the key to reaching the semi -finals, and competing for the championship title.

The two teams mobilized their full stars for this match, as Caio Lucas, who succeeded in scoring the equalizer for his team in the first leg, will be the winning paper for Sharjah alongside the rest of the influential elements in the team.

Sharjah is expected to play the match with all its basic elements that played the previous match, while the possibility of the player to participate or not, after the injury he was recently suffered.

On the other hand, Al -Ahly youth will in turn depend on its striking offensive strength led by the Iranian striker Sardar Azmun, knowing that the team also suffers from some influential absences, such as defender Saeed Suleiman for being cut in the cruciate ligament of the left foot, as well as his player Riccylmi Hernandez due to injury to the posterior muscle.

Al -Ahly youth is currently leading the arrangement of the ADNOC Professional League teams with 47 points, while Sharjah is in second place with 40 points, knowing that Al -Ahly youth played 17 games in the league, and has not been subjected to any loss, as he won 15 games, tied in two games, while Sharjah played 17 games as well, won 13 games, tied in one match, lost in three.

The Sharjah and Al -Ahly youth teams reached this stage of the Asian Championship, after Sharjah succeeded in overcoming the obstacle of the Jordanian Hussein Irbid team in the round of 16, and in turn the youth of Al -Ahly managed to exclude the Jordanian units in the same round.

The two teams will meet again on the 18th and 23rd of this year in the first leg and return matches in the semi -finals of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, and they will also meet on the 28th of the same month in the 19th round of the Professional League.
