“Sharjah Entrepreneurship” launches the “Startup Pitch” competition


The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival launched the “Startup Pitch” competition, with the aim of supporting innovative ideas and pioneering solutions for emerging projects, allocating financial prizes of up to 200 thousand dirhams for distinguished projects, in addition to financing opportunities of up to 500 thousand dirhams from investors and travel opportunities provided by “Air Airlines”. Arabic”.
The competition targets ambitious startups from all over the world, with applications open until January 26 for entrepreneurs and business owners working in four main tracks: education technology, sustainability, creative industries, technology, and industry 4.0.
The festival revealed that 16 projects will be selected from among the applicants to participate in the final qualifiers, where distinguished entrepreneurs will compete, and the winning solutions will be presented before a committee of arbitrators and investors, during the festival’s activities on February 1 and 2.
The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center – Sheraa organizes the competition in partnership with the “1Tank” initiative of the “1trepreneur” group and is designed as a showcase competition for high-risk startups, where companies can present their innovative ideas to a group of investors to obtain immediate financing.
The Executive Director of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center “Sheraa”, Sarah Abdel Aziz Balhaif Al Nuaimi, said, “The competition comes within the framework of Sheraa’s vision to support innovative entrepreneurs who seek to develop their projects and achieve a real impact in various fields, as the center aims to empower creative people and provide… The resources needed to transform their ideas into implementable projects.”
