Sharjah launches a campaign to defend the “strong hands” with a meeting in Dibba Al-Hisn


The day before yesterday, the Competitions Committee of the Handball Federation conducted the draw for the preliminary round of the General League competition for the 2024-2025 season, and its first round, which begins on the sixth of next December, resulted in the defending champion (Sharjah) starting the campaign to defend its title with a match against Dibba Al-Hisn, Al-Nasr faces Maliha, with the rest of the preliminary round matches to be announced later.

The league competition will be held with the participation of seven teams: Al-Sharjah, Shabab Al-Ahly, Local, Al-Nasr, Dibba Al-Hisn, Al-Wahda, and Al-Wasl, provided that the preliminary round will be held in a league system of two round-robin stages, the results of which will determine the positions from first to fourth that will compete in the final round. It consists of two sessions grouped over two consecutive weeks, after which the identity of the champion team is determined.
