A light plane belonging to the Al Jazeera Air Sports Club crashed in the sea off the coast of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, in an accident that resulted in the death of its pilot and his companion.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation stated that the Air Accident Investigation Sector in the Authority received a report regarding the accident, noting that the work teams and competent authorities are continuing the investigation to determine the reasons for its occurrence, and the General Authority of Civil Aviation extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families and loved ones of the two victims.
