Informed sources confirmed that the 60 detainees belonging to the “Muslim Brotherhood” group, which is legally banned in the country, made confessions stating that they belong to a secret organization that established a military wing, whose goal is to seize power and establish a religious government in the Emirates, by illegal means.

The sources stressed to “Emirates Al-Youm” that the case of those arrested is purely criminal, and has no connection to their being religious preachers, nor people defending political issues or demanding reforms, in light of their “documented confessions of establishing a secret organizational framework affiliated with the global organization of the (Muslim Brotherhood) that possesses money, manages investments, and collects donations for himself,” she added, adding that the detainees “also admitted that they found in the events of the (Arab Spring) a suitable opportunity.” “For their activity,” and that they have “a military wing established in 1988 to train members, with its leaders communicating with the officers to include them in the organization after their retirement.”

The same sources denied that any of the detainees had been subjected to torture in any form, and said that “what was rumored in this regard is nothing more than slander aimed at exploiting the case politically and insulting the state’s human rights records,” and pointed out that the detainees “violated Article 180.” ) of the Penal Code, which prohibits the formation of any political organization. After the end of investigations against them in the Public Prosecution, they will be referred to the competent courts, and then the judiciary will deal with them as defendants, and they will receive The convict shall be punished, and those whose guilt is not proven shall be released.”

The sources confirmed that “the detainees are receiving decent treatment guaranteed by the laws of the state, and consistent with human rights and the rights of the accused in a fair litigation process, and that their arrest was neither random nor arbitrary, but rather took place after it was proven that they were involved in an illegal organization.” They added that “the Public Prosecution allowed They are entitled to appoint lawyers, and eight lawyers have already come forward to defend them. The procedures for transferring the case to the courts will soon be completed, and their families will be able to visit them and communicate with them.”

The Public Prosecution charged the detainees with four charges: establishing and managing a secret organization that affects security and the principles of the establishment of the state, associating with external parties and receiving instructions and money from them, and exposure to the political leadership in the state, in addition to building an investment portfolio to support an illegal organization, while the sources confirmed that “ Generally, those belonging to the organization in the country do not exceed a few hundred.”

In addition, the sources said that the detainees, according to their confessions during the investigation, established a traditional structure similar to the organizational structure of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab countries. There is a general coordinator, an executive office, and a Shura Council, while the rules manage subcommittees at the level of each emirate in the country, and all of that. Within the framework of three main goals, the first of which is to prepare society for the organization, after penetration into it, then seizing power, establishing a religious government, and before that attracting 2% of citizens to membership in the organization, provided that They have about five ministerial portfolios in the government, and investments exceed one billion dirhams in the country.

For this reason, the Brotherhood organization in its Emirati version used several tactics, the most prominent of which were challenging the legitimacy of the state and its political system, and deceiving citizens that they were living in an illusion of economic prosperity, according to sources who also revealed that the organization received weeks ago, after the arrest of its detainees, An amount of 10 million dirhams from a “Brotherhood” organization in a Gulf country, in an integrated context of cooperation and coordination with other “Muslim Brotherhood” organizations in Arab countries, led by an active religious figure.
