“The Federal National” continues to discuss the government’s policy on reproductive rates


The Health and Environmental Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council continued, during its meeting today, headed by Dr. Sidra Rashid Al -Mansouri, a decision of the committee, to discuss the issue of the government’s policy regarding the enhancement of childbearing rates in the country in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection.

The members of the committee were attended by Sumaya Abdullah Al -Suwaidi, Muhammad Hassan Al -Zahouri, and Naama Abdullah Al -Sharhan, members of the Federal National Council.

During the meeting, the reasons for low reproductive rates in the country were discussed, coordination between the Ministry of Health and fertilization centers to support families wishing to have children, reviewing global medical experiences and practices regarding fertilization, and the most important existing initiatives to support reproductive health of citizens, evaluating services in accordance with economic and social factors and their impact on childbearing, and need Because there is an electronic link between the fertilization centers and the entities of the local health bodies in the country and the ministry, and the proposals submitted to raise the reproductive rate and the government’s efforts in this regard.
