SALIC announced the start of implementing flexible tariffs at all gates except for the holy month of Ramadan, starting January 31, 2025, as part of a plan to streamline traffic in Dubai.
The company announced that the flexible tariff suits everyone’s needs, as it was designed to keep pace with Dubai’s ambitions as the best city for life.
According to the flexible road toll system (Salik), which will be implemented at the end of this January, the toll will be as follows:
Peak times in Ramadan: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Weekdays: 6 dirhams
Sunday – excluding holidays, occasions and events: 4 dirhams
Off peak times during Ramadan: 7:00 – 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Weekdays: 4 dirhams
Sunday – excluding holidays, occasions and events: 4 dirhams
After midnight during Ramadan: 2:00 – 7:00 am
Weekdays: No tariff
Sunday – excluding holidays, occasions and events: no tariff
SALIC noted that there is no change to the discount method if the crossing is made from “Al-Safa North and Al-Safa South Gates” and from “Al-Mamzar North and Al-Mamzar South Gates” or vice versa in one direction within one hour, as the discount is made only once for each crossing of each of the two gates. .
