The Football Association honors the fan “Saeed” and the players give him the national team shirt

The UAE Football Association honored the young Emirati fan Saeed Al Marri, who was present in the stands of Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Doha to support and cheer for our national team in its match against its Qatari counterpart, which was held last Thursday and ended with the Whites winning by three goals to one. The players presented the national team shirt to the fan Saeed in his honor.

Social media circulated a touching shot of the 9-year-old fan Saeed shedding tears of joy when the third goal was scored, in addition to his special encouragement that won everyone’s admiration. The Football Association was keen to invite him to be present at the New York University stadium on Saadiyat Island to meet the players and follow the training session.

Saeed expressed his great joy and happiness to be with the players and talk to them, stressing that he will be keen to attend the stands of Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium to support the Whites in their match against Iran, hoping to continue achieving victories in the qualifiers.
