The Head of State and the Brazilian President discuss by telephone the relations of the two countries


His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and His Excellency Luis Inacio da Silva, President of the Federal Republic of Brazil, discussed various aspects of bilateral relations and ways to enhance them within the framework of the strategic partnership that brings together the two countries and their keenness to push it to broader horizons that serve their mutual interests, especially in Economic, trade, development, technology, climate change, renewable energy and other aspects of cooperation that are consistent with the sustainable development efforts of the two countries and are of common interest.

The call touched on the nineteenth summit of G20 heads of state and governmentWhich was recently hosted by Brazil. On this occasion, His Highness thanked the Brazilian President for inviting the UAE to participate in the summit, praising the efforts made by President Luiz Inacio da Silva to make it successful and produce results that are in the interest of cooperation and development for all.

The two sides exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest and coordination to support peace and stability in the region and the world, stressing in this context the importance of multilateral action in confronting common global challenges, in addition to strengthening efforts to consolidate international peace and security.
