The four matches, which were scheduled yesterday, were postponed in the 33rd stage of the Italian Football League, due to the death of Pope Francis, who was known for his love for football, according to the “Siri A” association.

The League said in a statement yesterday: “After the death of the holiness, the Italian League asserts the postponement of today’s matches in the first division (Siri A) and the first youth league (Premavira 1), and the postponed dates will be announced in time.”

Yesterday, the stage was supposed to conclude with Turin’s matches with Udinese, Cagliari with Fiorentina, Genoa with Lazio and Parma with Juventus.
