Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak stressed in this regard that the aim of launching the competition is to motivate creators and innovators from the sons and daughters of the Emirates, stressing the need to add a branch of the competition that enables students to use artificial intelligence.

For his part, Yasser Al -Qarqawi, Director General of the Watan Fund, explained that the competition focuses on producing a short video or expressive photograph, within the scope of environmental photography of the UAE, which is the photography that focuses on the Emirati environment, its events and the surrounding scenes, and the details of daily life in the Emirates, which embodies the authentic Emirati values ​​from which Tolerance, respect and peaceful coexistence, and these works can be in three categories: digital video, photography, photography or video produced by artificial intelligence technology, stressing that the deadline for receiving business next April 14.

And on the most important goals of the Emirates lens competition, Al -Qarqawi stated that the competition focuses on highlighting the aesthetics of the Emirati environment by focusing on nature, living scenes in the country, celebrating creative talents, artistic excellence and technical skills, enhancing authentic Emirati values, showing the bright side of it, highlighting the uniqueness and diversity that the environment enjoys Emirati, whether wild, maritime, or desert, and focusing on showing Emiratis retaining their authentic heritage, which represents part of their identity.

Regarding the conditions of the competition, Al -Qarqawi stressed that the short film or photographic image, the beauty and diversity of the Emirati environment, including nature, wildlife, cities, or interaction between humans and the environment with the use of innovative and inspiring imaging techniques, can be used digital cameras or phones Portable, and if the work using artificial intelligence, it must be clearly indicated to use this technique in the production of video or image, either completely or partially, and a description of the work must be attached to the participant with brief words (without using artificial intelligence) within the limits of 80 words, In the event that the participation will be excluded, noting that the images presented to the competition must be from the filming of the applicant himself, clear and high quality, and the student can participate with a maximum of 4 photos.

He added that the participating video can contain sound and visual effects, and its duration should range between 2 and 3 minutes, and the video can be recorded using a smartphone or the camera, according to specifications represented in high resolution (1080 pixels and 30 frames per second), and the horizontal or vertical direction And the sound is unilateral or stereo, as all pictures must be in formatting the JPG file for pictures, and every video and every image must carry a distinctive title and expressing the Arabic language within the topic of the competition, and all property rights in the winning photos are returned to its maker, but the homeland fund is entitled to the organized authority. The competition has to use it for non -commercial purposes.

Al -Qarqawi warned that the shared works will be subject to evaluation by a standard jury authorized by members of the homeland fund and a number of national identity club supervisors, and the evaluation will be based on creativity in providing the issue and its ability to transfer a strong and influential environmental message, and the provision of any work indicates the acceptance of all rules The competition and its conditions, and the participant approved when applying that his participating work is one of his innovation personally and has never participated in any other competition.

On the competition awards, Al -Qarqawi explained that in the video category, the first place will receive a prize of 3000 dirhams, the second at 2000 dirhams, the third is 1000 dirhams, while the video category using artificial intelligence, the first receives a financial prize of 1000 dirhams, the second at 500 dirhams, and the third On 250 dirhams, as for photography, the first receives a financial prize of 1500 dirhams, the second at 1000 dirhams, and the third at 500 dirhams, in addition to a signed estimate certificate and explained the results of the arbitration, and the opportunity to offer work in an art gallery.
