The Ministry of Education, in cooperation with the Prime Minister’s Office in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, launched a national educational and awareness campaign aimed at instilling the values of the “We Are the Emirates 2031” vision in future generations and including students from all educational levels, during the period from November 4 to 8.
The campaign aims to educate students about the importance of the “We are the Emirates 2031” vision in shaping the future of the nation, by highlighting the four main national axes of the vision, which include the most prosperous society in the world, the global center for the new economy, the most prominent supporter of international cooperation, and the most pioneering and superior system.
This initiative seeks to consolidate the principles of a cohesive society, a diversified economy, international cooperation, and innovation among students, through various educational activities that include interactive discussions, creative projects, workshops, group projects, volunteer initiatives, and constructive discussion sessions that enhance students’ sense of responsibility towards the future of the country.
The activities aim to introduce students to the basic concepts of the “We are the Emirates 2031” vision and its main themes. Students participate in interactive activities that help them understand the importance of building a cohesive society that values education, health care, and cultural heritage, with a focus on the concept of a diversified and innovative economy in addition to the role of the UAE in global cooperation, environmental protection, and community service projects, where students perform diplomatic roles and environmental responsibilities that contribute In promoting understanding of the importance of diversity, inclusion and entrepreneurship
The Minister of Education, Sarah bint Youssef Al Amiri, said: “The campaign to introduce the vision of ‘We are the Emirates 2031’, which was circulated to all schools in the country, comes as a pivotal step within the ministry’s efforts to ensure that students understand the country’s vision and enhance their vital role in achieving it. We believe that This initiative will contribute to building a generation of leaders and innovators capable of facing challenges and building a sustainable and prosperous future for our nation
She added: “The Ministry of Education took the initiative to organize special introductory workshops targeting a number of new teachers in the country with the aim of qualifying administrative and educational cadres and spreading awareness about the vision of “We Are the Emirates 2031.” The Ministry will continue to organize more introductory workshops during the coming period.
Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office, Omar Sultan Al Olama, stressed that raising the new Emirati generation on the national values and trends embraced by the “We Are the Emirates 2031” vision represents the best investment in the future of the UAE, and comes As part of the government’s efforts to implement the leadership’s directives to enhance community participation in the country’s development process
Omar Sultan Al Olama said that the UAE has focused from the very beginning on the human being, on establishing a cohesive society, building a pioneering economy, developing the best system for government work, and building the awareness of future generations on these foundations will contribute to preparing an empowered generation that will carry the banner of sustainable development and prosperity for its country and society.
For her part, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs, Hoda Al Hashemi, confirmed that the partnership with the Ministry of Education aims to enhance the awareness of the new generation about the “We are the Emirates 2031” vision, which represents a comprehensive strategy aimed at sustaining the leadership and excellence of the UAE, by consolidating the spirit of teamwork.
Hoda Al Hashemi said that introducing UAE school students to the “We Are the Emirates 2031” vision will contribute to motivating and encouraging them to participate in an influential role in shaping the country’s future, and will enhance their understanding of the ambitious national visions, and instill in them the values of teamwork, innovation, and creative thinking, so that they will be an active part in achieving the UAE’s ambitions.
