The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project completes the first phase of the aircraft repair area


The “Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project”, the platform of “Dubai South”, which is devoted to developing and developing the aviation industry, announced the completion of the first phase of the area of ​​supply and repairing parts of aircraft, which includes 11 facilities on a total area of ​​1.291 million square feet, in response to the increasing demand from companies operating in the aviation sector to expand or establish their business in the project, because of its advanced infrastructure and integrated solutions.

A statement, issued yesterday, stated that the first stage provides facilities dedicated to engines maintenance centers, landing equipment, reform workshops, and other support services related to the supply chain in the aviation sector.

The expansion work continues to develop an additional area of ​​1.721 million square feet, including a new facility for the supplier complex, which is the first vertical facility in the region to maintain and store aircraft parts, and aims to attract startups, small and medium -sized companies. The new supplier complex is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2026, as it will provide 88 units available for rental reinforced with three storage levels for companies that offer maintenance work, supply aircraft parts and drones, and others.

“We have witnessed a noticeable increase in the demand for aviation services, especially in the field of maintenance, reform and aircraft renewal, as many companies have shown interest in establishing or expanding their business within the project,” said Tahnoon Saif.

He added: «It is expected that this demand will rise more with the completion of the Al Maktoum International Airport in the future, and we are fully prepared to meet the needs of the sector through our current and future facilities, in line with the vision of our wise leadership in consolidating Dubai’s position to become the capital of the world.
