The physical strength team wins 9 Asian medals


The UAE physical strength team won nine medals (two gold, four silver, and three bronze) during its participation in the Asian Championship currently being held in Uzbekistan.

The two gold medals were won by Faisal Al Zaabi in the 94-kg bench press competition, and Mohammed Al-Humaidi in the 105-kg deadlift competition. Silver medals were also won by Faisal Al Zaabi in the general total, and Mohammed Al Kaabi (two medals in the bench press and deadlift for 94 kilograms), and the fourth medal went to Mohammed Al Hamidi in the general total for 105 kilograms. Muhammad Al-Humaidi also won bronze in the squat in the 105-kilogram weight, and Faisal Al-Zaabi consolidated his achievements with a bronze in the squat in the 94-kilogram weight, while Muhammad Al-Kaabi won bronze in the overall total. In turn, the head of the national physical strength team delegation, Secretary General of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Marri, appreciated the achievements achieved, describing them as distinguished.

Al Marri described the UAE physical strength team as one of the strongest teams in Asia.
