The “Picking of the Pegs” team reaps the bronze of the Gulf beach games

The knights of the national team to capture the pegs won the bronze medal for the spear teams competition, in the third edition of the Gulf Beach Games “Muscat 2025”, while the Saudi team achieved the gold medal, and the Oman team won the silver medal.

The voting team includes Fahd Al -Shammari, Saif Al -Harthi, Muhammad Abdullah, Khaled Al -Masoud and Issa Al -Balushi.

The Emirates harvest in the session rose to five medals, by three golds by Abdullah Al Hammadi, who won the two paragliding golds (descending on the target and overthrowing the “bowling” cones), in addition to the gold team gold in the category of Uptomic teams, and the air sports team achieved the silver medal for the teams of paragliding, in addition to the bronze medal for the chippering team.

The UAE participates in the eight beach sports listed in the course: football, handball, volleyball, athletics, pegs, sail, swimming, and paragliding, with a sports delegation consisting of 77 athletes and sports, where the third participation of the state in this forum, which has not been lost since its start for the first time in 2010 in Bahrain.

For his part, the hero Fahd Al -Shammari expressed his happiness at achieving the bronze medal for the teams in the spear competitions, and he said in press statements: “This achievement was achieved thanks to the collective work and the spirit of the team that brought us together, and we do not forget that success was thanks to the great support provided by our beloved country, which provided us with all the capabilities and encouragement to achieve these successes, and we look forward to more superiority in the future.”

Today, athletics competitions are continuing with triple jumping competitions, high jumping, and sequence (4×60) meters for women, and the mile race, as well as peg capture competitions.

The handball team will meet tomorrow, its Saudi counterpart, while the football team faces its Omani counterpart, and the sail team continues to participate in the individual races for all groups that conclude tomorrow, and witnesses the identification of the first positions and the distribution of prizes.
