The Ruler of Fujairah issues two decrees merging the Universities of Fujairah and the University of Science and Technology and appointing the Board of Trustees


His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, issued Emiri Decree No. 2 of 2025 merging the University of Fujairah and the University of Science and Technology under the name “University of Fujairah”, as part of a long-term development plan that supports the educational process in the emirate and accommodates students in specializations. Selected scientific and literary works.

His Highness also issued another Amiri decree naming the University’s Board of Trustees, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and with the membership of His Excellency Saeed bin Mohammed Al Raqbani, Dr. Ahmed Hassan Al Morshedi, Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Khuzaimi, Dr. Sulaiman Ali Al Kaabi, and Ali Khalfan Al Antali. Yousef Rashid Al-Marsoudi, Mona Hassan Al-Mutairi, and Maryam Saeed Al-Mutairi.

The Amiri decree included details of the basic tasks of the Board of Trustees to ensure the sustainability of the university and achieve its academic, administrative and financial objectives, clarifying the powers of each party contributing to organizing the work of the university, which will witness the launch of a new academic entity that supports the labor market and guides graduates towards the best future practices for their academic choices.
