The UAE provides 45.6% of Japan’s oil imports


Japan’s oil imports from the UAE amounted to 35.97 million barrels, or 45.6% of its total imports last December.

According to the data of the Natural Resources and Energy Agency of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan imported about 78.85 million barrels of Arab oil, including 96.3% or 75.94 million barrels of four Arab countries, in addition to the UAE, namely: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar , And Oman.

Japan’s oil imports from the UAE amounted to 27.16 million barrels, or 38.2% of the total imports in November 2024, according to the data of the Japanese Natural Resources and Energy Agency.
