The UAE team has the highest market value in the 26th Gulf Cup


The national football team topped the list of teams with the highest market value in the “Gulf 26”, according to the latest estimates for the month of December issued by the “Transfer Market” website, which specializes in the prices of players and teams, days before the start of the tournament next Saturday.

Kuwait will host the Gulf Championship during the period from December 21 to January 3, with the participation of eight teams divided into two groups. The first includes the national team, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman, while the second includes the teams of Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Yemen.

The Emirati White team topped the list of teams with the highest market value in the tournament with 37.30 million euros, after its market value reached 34.65 million euros last November, followed by the Saudi team with a difference of more than 10 million euros, as the market value of the “Green” stars reached 27.10 million euros, which Its market value also increased this month compared to last November (25.5 million euros).

The Qatari national team occupies third place with 19.58 million euros, after the market value of its players declined, which amounted to 20.18 million euros in November, followed by the Iraqi national team with 10.95 million euros, a significant decline from last month, when its value reached 12.58 million euros.

The Bahrain national team came fifth with 9.83 million euros, without any change, then the Oman national team with 9.05 million euros, an increase of nearly one million euros, followed by the Kuwait national team with four million euros, whose market value declined, after it was estimated in the last census at 5.08 million euros. Finally, the Yemeni national team, with 2.35 million euros.

Thus, the market value of the eight teams participating in the tournament exceeds 120 million euros.

In terms of market values ​​for the highest players participating in the “Gulf 26”, Qatari Akram Afif tops the list with 7.5 million euros, followed by national team player Fabio Lima with 7 million euros, then Saudi Firas Al-Braikan with 5 million euros, and his compatriot Saud Abdul Karim with 4 million euros. In fifth place is Qatari Almoez Ali with 3.5 million euros.
