The UAE Water Ski Championship concludes at the breakwater today


The first round of the UAE Water Ski Championship concludes today at the Breakwater in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 86 competitors representing 23 countries.

The tournament included a number of categories that brought together juniors, beginners, and professionals, men and women.

Acting Director of the Marine Sports Department at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, Nasser Al Dhaheri, said: “The first round was a great success in terms of the number of participants and the level of competition.”

He added: “The water skiing championship is an ideal platform for young people to showcase their talents and compete in a high sportsmanship. We are proud of the participants who demonstrated exceptional skills and showcased their best on the water. The breakwater was the ideal location for this tournament, as it provided a wonderful atmosphere for challenge and fun.”
