The unit is still in third place despite the tie with Al -Wasl

Al-Wahda team defender, Lucas Pimanta, confirmed that his team’s goal is to obtain third place in the ADNOC Professional Football League at the end of the current season, noting that “Al-Annabi” played a less match for Al-Wasl, and Al-Ain highlighted his competitors for the qualified position to play in the foreign championships, and Pimanta told “Emirates Today”: “Al-Wahda is still in third place, despite the last tie against Al-Wasl 2-2 in the 21st round, yes, yes, we lost Two points, but definitely the tie point was better, because we stopped a competitor. ”

Pimanta is considered one of the most important players of Al-Wahda and the national team, as he fought with his club this season 17 games, during which he scored two goals, as he was chosen in the Al-Abyad list during the last gathering of Iran and North Korea’s matches, and has been in the league championship since the 2019-2020 season.

Regarding receiving two goals in one half of Al -Wasl during the last match, Al -Wahda defender said: “We committed errors that should not occur inside the penalty area in front of the Al -Wasl attack, and in the second half we compensated by scoring two goals, and we succeeded in returning and going out with a point of the match.”

He concluded: “We have a postponed match, and the team can maintain third place until the end of the season and draw in the Al-Wasl match, and before it the victory match 2-2, it is certainly considered a loss of points, but we can quickly return to the victories.”
