Two girls died when their recreational bike was hit by a vehicle in Ras Al Khaimah


Two female citizens, aged 14 and 15, died after the recreational motorcycle they were riding was hit by a private vehicle on an internal street in an area of ​​Ras Al Khaimah.

Ras Al Khaimah Police reported that the details of this unfortunate accident occurred when a car driven by a 37-year-old citizen hit a recreational bike on which the two girls were riding from behind, as a result of the driver’s lack of attention, while it was traveling on an internal street, which led to the death of the two girls.

Ras Al Khaimah Police stated that the operations room received a report yesterday evening, Saturday, stating that the accident had occurred, so the specialized patrols and the National Ambulance moved immediately to the scene, where it was found that the two girls had died as a result of the severe injuries they had suffered as a result of the collision, so that they were transported by the National Ambulance to the hospital in preparation for handing them over to their families. The responsible driver was arrested and the concerned police authorities received the accident file to complete investigations and take the legal procedures followed in such types of accidents.

Ras Al Khaimah Police called on the public of drivers to be cautious and cautious, to fully adhere to traffic regulations and laws and to the specified speeds, and not to be distracted by anything other than the road in order to avoid the occurrence of such unfortunate accidents in which innocent people fall victim.
