Two reasons behind the victory over Al -Ahly youth

Al-Wasl coach, Serbian Milos, said that his team presented a big match, and deserved to win over Al-Ahly youth 2-1, the day before yesterday, in round 23 of the ADNOC Professional League, especially since the players presented a big match under pressure, indicating that there are two reasons behind the victory, the first is that the “Emperor” plays the “Derby” match against Al-Ahly youth, and the second is that the team is looking for the third place, and the three points should be obtained.

Al -Wasl succeeded in attaching the first loss to Al -Ahly youth, after the latter had overcome it three times this season with the UAE Super Cup and the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, as well as the first round match of the league, which made the match the day before yesterday a special confrontation, as it is linked to the Al -Ahly youth’s crowning the league title on the ground of Zabeel in the event of a draw.

Milosh told «Emirates Today»: “The victory was very important for the players and the public, after the team returned to its normal level, and won 23 points in the second round, and I think we did not succeed in the league this season in the necessary way, and the situation was similar to the Sharjah team last season, when the team tied in seven games, which is the same number of Al -Wasl draws this season.”

He added: “The league needs great work and players who are playing more than one championship, and we only have to focus in the next three matches in order to achieve the main goal of being in third place qualified for Asia.”
