U.ae platform surpasses 11 million users in 12 months, TDRA says
U.ae platform draws more than 11 million users and 18 million visits in a year, highlighting mobile-first adoption and strong demand for visa services across the UAE.
The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) announced that the U.ae platform registered over 11 million unique users during the past 12 months.
The milestone reflects accelerating demand for a unified digital gateway that connects residents, visitors and businesses to federal and local government services.
TDRA officials said the data underline progress toward a proactive, flexible government model that prioritises accessibility and responsiveness.
U.ae platform records 11 million users and 18 million visits
The latest usage figures show the U.ae platform received more than 18 million visits over the same period.
That traffic translates to an average of roughly 1.5 million monthly visits, demonstrating steady engagement across a broad spectrum of services.
TDRA described the results as evidence of growing public trust in the official government portal as a single point of access to state institutions.
Visa and residency services lead user interest
Content related to visa and residency services accounted for more than one-fifth of all page views on the U.ae platform.
The high share of engagement reflects sustained interest in pathways such as golden visas, tourist permits and other residency options.
Officials noted this pattern reinforces the UAE’s appeal as a global hub for talent, investment and entrepreneurship.
Design thinking guided platform development
Developers said the U.ae platform was built using a design-thinking approach that places users at the centre of service design.
That methodology informed navigation flows, content structure and service journeys to reduce friction and speed task completion.
By prioritising intuitive experiences, the platform aims to place essential services directly in front of users with fewer steps and clearer guidance.
Accessibility and inclusion embedded in user experience
The platform’s design also aligns with digital accessibility standards to ensure broad coverage for all segments of the community.
TDRA emphasised that features were implemented to support people of determination and other groups requiring adapted interactions.
These accessibility measures are framed as part of the UAE’s commitment to inclusive digital transformation and equitable access to public services.
Mobile access dominates with more than 60% of traffic
Smartphones were the primary means of access, accounting for over 60 percent of visits to the U.ae platform.
This mobile-first usage reflects wider shifts toward on-the-go interactions and flexible working practices across the country.
Officials said the mobile emphasis allows government services to be reachable at any time and from any place, improving operational efficiency and user convenience.
TDRA pledges continuous improvement and global competitiveness
TDRA signalled that the U.ae platform will continue to evolve through ongoing data analysis and iterative enhancements.
The authority framed continuous improvement as central to sustaining the UAE’s position as a benchmark for digital government services globally.
Efforts will focus on further streamlining user journeys, expanding service coverage and strengthening the platform’s resilience and performance.
The TDRA underlined that success is measured not only by visitor numbers but by the practical impact on citizens’ and residents’ daily lives, with the U.ae platform positioned as a key instrument for reducing bureaucracy and improving access to government services.
