Emirates Team Emirates rider, Italian Diego Ulissi, concluded his participation in the Tour of Poland with second place in the general classification of the race, which was won by Jonas Vingegaard, rider of the “Visma Lab” team.
According to the team’s statement issued yesterday, the competition in the final stage of the tour was held on a flat track extending from Wieliczka to Krakow.
Ulissi expressed his happiness at coming in second place, stressing that he did not expect to be this strong, which enabled him to be in second place in the overall standings of the Tour.
“My next goals will be the one-day races at the end of the year in Italy. I have big ambitions to finish the season strong,” he said.
