Victory over Kyrgyzstan by three gives confidence to the attacking line

The captain of the national football team, Khaled Issa, said that the huge 3-0 victory achieved by “Al-Abyad” against its guest, Kyrgyzstan, in the match that brought together the two sides yesterday evening at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in the fifth round of the qualifiers, gives great confidence to the offensive line and strengthens the team’s offensive tendency.

He said in press statements after the victory: “Getting a clean sheet from the match is not as important to me as winning and scoring 3 goals because this gives confidence to the attacking line and contributes to strengthening the attacking tendency. We want Caio Canedo and Fabio Lima to score as well.”

Commenting on the next confrontation against Qatar scheduled for Tuesday, Khaled Issa said: “For us, we are looking forward to continuing to achieve victories. For us, the last and next match are all difficult and all of them are broken bones and crossroads, and any loss could put us in a sensitive situation.”

He added: “The Qatar match is like any other match. For us, we must enter it with all our seriousness, especially since continuing to achieve victories is an important matter. The match in Abu Dhabi and the fans will certainly not be shortened.”
