His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Governor of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Michael Maybach, met the CEO of MasterCard, where we discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of financial technology, the role of the Emirates and Dubai in supporting financial innovation.

His Highness said in a tweet on his official account on the “X” platform: “Today I met Michael Maybach, CEO of MasterCard, where we reviewed the overall economic vision of the UAE and its achievement in building a financial system that has the flexibility and high readiness for the future, and we discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of financial technology, the role of the Emirates and Dubai in supporting financial innovation, by enhancing global partnerships in the financial services sector and supporting digital transformation.”

His Highness added: “We continue to work to consolidate Dubai’s position among the four largest financial centers in the world, through an advanced business environment and strong infrastructure and we consolidate the UAE’s entrepreneurial site globally.”
