Kyrgyzstan’s Russian national team coach, Maxim Lystsyn, said that he does not believe that the UAE national team has the advantage due to playing the match scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, at its home stadium in Abu Dhabi, stressing that his team is capable of achieving a good result that will help it advance in the standings of Group A in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
He explained in a press conference held today, Wednesday in Abu Dhabi, that: “We prepared well for the match, and I think that the confrontation will be difficult, and we will see what will happen on the field, as the situation in the group standings table requires all teams to give everything they have so that each team maintains its chances.” In qualifying for the World Cup, we have great optimism that we will play a good match and achieve the result we aspire to.”
He added: “I do not like to compare my team’s situation with the UAE national team according to past results, and as for the pressure, it is on all teams and coaches, and we are focusing on our own aspects, and preparing the players in the best possible way.”

Regarding the UAE national team’s advantage in playing the match at its stadium, he said: “We played many matches, and it does not matter if they were at our stadium or outside our stadium. We have the capabilities that qualify us to achieve a good result.”
