White Hand to Jordan to participate in Asian Juniors

Tomorrow, Sunday, the national youth team will leave for Jordan to participate in the 10th Asian Youth Championship, which is scheduled to be held in the capital, Amman, during the period from September 3 to 14.

The mission is headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Handball Federation, Nabil Mohammed bin Ashour, and includes the Board Member and Financial Director of the Federation, Saud Ibrahim Saleh.

The tournament draw, which took place in Jordan on August 15, placed our national team in Group 3 (C) of the preliminary round of the tournament, along with the Saudi and Qatari teams. A single-round league will be held between the three teams, after which the first and second place teams will advance to compete in the main round of the tournament to determine the positions from 1-8, while the third place team will go to the competitions to determine the positions from 9-13.

The national team is scheduled to open the preliminary round by meeting the Saudi national team on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, and will conclude its matches in the preliminary round on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, by meeting the Qatar national team.

The list of the administrative, technical and medical staff of the mission includes Faisal Dawood Mohammed Saleh – team administrator, Khaled Ahmed Al Balushi – coach, Ibrahim Issa Al Amiri – assistant coach, Tariq Ibrahim Al Balushi – assistant coach, Yasser Al Sayed Siri – assistant coach, Tamer Abdul Latif Al Munir – treatment specialist, and Ali Al Hammadi – photographer.
