“Zelzal 125” wins the sailing bearings race title


The ship “Zelzal 125”, owned by Nokhatha Abdullah Al Marzouqi, won the title of the 22-foot sailboat race, which was organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, the day before yesterday, as part of the heritage racing calendar this season.

“Yuv 67” came in second place, owned by Zayed Al Hosani, piloted by Nokhadha Sultan Al Marzouqi, and third place came in “Al Saroukh 90,” owned by Nokhatha Omar Al Marzouqi.

65 loaders participated in the race, “the fourth round of this category,” and set off from Pearl Island for a distance of seven nautical miles towards the finish line in front of the headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club on the Abu Dhabi Corniche.

The winners of the first three places were crowned by the Chairman of the Club’s Competitions Committee, Saif Al Suwaidi, the Acting Director of the Marine Sports Department at the Club, Nasser Al Dhaheri, and the General Supervisor of the Race, Khalifa Mohammed Al Suwaidi.
