A specialized team, including more than 100 people, is working around the clock to prepare the Majlis Course at the Emirates Golf Club to host the Hero Dubai Desert Classic golf tournament, which will be held from January 16 to 19.
A press release stated that the organizers are making intense efforts behind the scenes to host stars such as Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland and Tommy Fleetwood to compete for the 36th edition title and win the famous Dallah Cup.
Stadium Supervisor, Matthew Perry, said: “Preparing for the tournament is based on attention to detail, and regular maintenance efforts for the stadium have been raised to a new level to keep up with the level of the tournament. It is important for us to give the field a rest in the preparation period for the event, but then we face a big challenge during the competition week, as we rotate the green spaces.”
