The business incubator “Bedayat”, from its headquarters in the Sustainable City in Dubai, announced the selection of 20 distinguished Emirati startup companies for the “Business Accelerators” and “Business Incubators” programmes, in partnership with the Hamdan Center for Creativity and Innovation (Hi2), affiliated with the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small Enterprise Development. The Middle School is one of the institutions of the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai.
This was announced during a celebratory event hosted by the C Institute, and attended by the Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, Abdul Basit Al Janahi.
This selection represents an important step for the Emirati Tech Pioneers Programme, which was launched last September, with the vision of enhancing entrepreneurial excellence and supporting sustainable innovation within the UAE.
The program attracted 93 distinct and innovative applications with the participation of 182 entrepreneurs, looking to bring about positive development in key sectors, such as technology and artificial intelligence, mobility, e-commerce, healthcare, tourism, educational technology solutions, and environmental technology.
The 20 selected startups are divided into two tracks. The first track within the “Business Accelerators” program targets 10 startups in the growth stage, and provides them with the necessary tools to enhance activities and operations and support their activities in the market.
On the other hand, the “Business Incubator” program supports 10 startup companies that are still at the beginning of their establishment through guidance and workshops, and it provides a supportive environment to transform these pioneering and innovative concepts into ready-made solutions capable of entering the market.
