For her part, the consumer Ghada Samir agreed that promotional performances and recreational events were among the factors that motivated families to visit shopping centers, which contributed to increasing the demand in a remarkable way, especially during the Eid Al -Fitr holiday, pointing out that the price discounts offered were a stimulating factor to visit the shops in the “malls” or the “hypermarket” during Ramadan and Eid.

In turn, the director of institutional communication at the “Lulu Global Group”, Nanda Kumar, said that the last two seasons of Ramadan and Eid Al -Fitr were among the most successful seasons that witnessed a significant increase in sales, exceeding 25% compared to previous periods, as well as my season last year.

He added that sales growth exceeded 30%, especially during the last holiday, as the demand for shopping centers in Dubai was great, whether by the local population and visitors or tourists from different countries as well as families consuming, who benefited from the offers of discounts in those centers, which contributed to increasing sales in all sections of the centers, including entertainment and restaurants.

In turn, the director of purchases at one of the retailer outlets, Dilip Fishal, stressed that the retail sector in Dubai recorded a remarkable growth in sales during the Ramadan and Eid Al -Fitr seasons, and at rates that exceed the similar time period last year, with the support of increasing the offers offered and the high consumer demand.
He said that retail sales in the Dubai market during Ramadan and Eid, have grown at rates reaching about 40%, which appeared through the large increase in the demand for shopping centers, especially during the Eid period, which was standard, which led to the alignment of shoppers at parking lots and shops inside centers and restaurants to obtain services.
