The GITEX Global 2024 exhibition, the largest event of its kind in the field of technology in the region, will kick off in Dubai tomorrow, with distinguished participation from the Dubai government, through a joint pavilion that includes more than 45 government and private entities, in addition to “Digital Dubai,” the organizing body. The exhibition, whose activities are being held under the slogan “Global cooperation to shape the economy of the future based on artificial intelligence,” will continue at the Dubai World Trade Center until October 18.

“Digital Dubai” has allocated a platform for artificial intelligence on the Dubai Government’s pavilion, based on the exceptional importance of this development and its place within the strategies for developing business, services and government programs during the next stage of the digital transformation process.

The Dubai Government Pavilion also witnesses a distinguished presence of a group of strategic partners from the government and private sectors, including E& Company, as the Platinum Partner, and Emirates Auctions, as the (Gold + Distinguished Partner), and the list of golden partners includes the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment and the Dubai Airports, Moro, a subsidiary of Digital Dubai, in addition to the silver partners, which are: the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, UXi Security Solutions, Network International, and Dell Technologies.

Director General of Digital Dubai, Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, pointed out the importance of this event, and the participation of Digital Dubai in it alongside its partners from government and private agencies. He said: “(GITEX Global) is not just an ordinary exhibition, but rather an annual event awaited by thousands in Dubai and the UAE, as well as in the region and the world. It gained its importance from the fact that it collects a summary of the findings of companies, institutions and development centers around the world in the field of technology. As for the 2024 session, it gains its importance from the spread of artificial intelligence technologies, which have become one of the most prominent manifestations of the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution that we live in today.”

He added: “I invite all those interested to visit the Dubai Government Pavilion, and I am confident that their wandering between the platforms will be a rich and enjoyable experience, and will place them in front of a digital scene full of current achievements, and rich in future programs that promise to make the most of technology for the benefit of humanity in all fields, most importantly.” Government sector.

In the same context, the Abu Dhabi government is participating in the exhibition under the slogan “Towards a pioneering government in artificial intelligence.” This year witnesses the 13th participation of the Abu Dhabi government, which reflects the emirate’s commitment to digital governance, adopting next-generation digital solutions and supporting innovation.

The Department of Government Empowerment is responsible for coordinating the participation of the Abu Dhabi government in the exhibition, among more than 30 government and academic institutions, to provide a unified experience for visitors to the government pavilion in the exhibition.

“Community Development” reveals its institutional work model

The Ministry of Community Development is participating in the “GITEX Global 2024” exhibition in its 44th edition, by showcasing its latest digital platforms and innovative solutions, which reflect the Ministry’s vision of empowering individuals and institutions to improve the quality of life through the integration and interconnection of their systems and services, which contributes to achieving the “We Are” vision. UAE 2031.

The “Digital Social Support Platform” is distinguished by its connectivity and integration with government and private agencies, and provides real-time interactive information panels for decision makers, in addition to enhancing the customer’s personal experience by designing more than five trips targeting various groups, which reach more than 100 individuals classified internally in the system. Using emerging technology by creating categories and automatically calculating the value of support through data analysis in correlation and integration with the entities, in addition to providing a calculator feature that contributes to the customer’s experience with service procedures and requirements. As a result of these trends, the process and procedures for providing the service were simplified, and the number of documents required from the customer was reduced by 50%, and in some cases, up to 100%.

The “Public Benefit Institutions Platform”, which is a unified national digital platform, aims to organize the work of third sector institutions, which is represented by providing work interfaces for users and licensing bodies, to manage the various operations of the systems, such as the unified national registry, the customer verification system, and the compliance and oversight system for the third sector. .
