The Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Charitable Educational Foundation in Ras Al Khaimah has set eight conditions for obtaining free education for residents of Ras Al Khaimah, for all categories of educational and university levels in the emirate, as the Foundation undertakes to teach 20,406 students in Sheikh Saud Charitable Educational Schools and in private schools in the emirate and some university specializations.
In detail, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Charitable Educational Foundation in Ras Al Khaimah, Sumaya Hareb Al Suwaidi, told Emirates Today that the Foundation has set eight conditions to accept the registration of students residing in Ras Al Khaimah within the free education program sponsored by the Sheikh Saud Charitable Educational Foundation, with the aim of helping… People with limited income have access to education.
He explained that the conditions for accepting a student stipulate that the student’s guardian’s salary must be less than three thousand dirhams, and that he must be of limited income, or poor, or orphaned, or have health conditions according to medical reports, and be unable to work. The number of family members does not allow the guardian to bear the costs of their studies financially, and he must have financial debt that prevents him from paying tuition fees.
She explained that the institution is studying all cases and requests in order to agree to accept the student’s registration in its classes according to the most needy cases, and she continued that the institution has 2,090 male and female students studying in schools from Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Educational Charity in Ras Al Khaimah, which number four schools, which are: Sheikh Saud School. Bin Saqr Al Qasimi Charity Private School for Basic Education for Boys, Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi Private Charitable School for Basic and Secondary Education for Boys, and Sheikh Saud Bin School Saqr Al Qasimi Charity Private School for Basic Education, Oula Circle for Girls, and Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Charitable Private School for Basic and Secondary Education for Girls.
She added that the Foundation registered 300 male and female students who meet the conditions to study in private schools in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah after the Foundation bore all costs and registration fees for them. The Foundation provided all students at the beginning of the school year with collecting school supplies, including shoes and school bags.
She pointed out that the Foundation registered 16 students who completed high school at Ras Al Khaimah University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Ras Al Khaimah, to study in the nursing specialty, as part of the Foundation’s projects to sponsor students with limited income and those who meet the conditions for obtaining university education.
She stated that the Foundation is working hard to provide free academic and university education for students of all age groups, whether in the Foundation’s schools or in private schools and universities, pointing out that there are more than 400 male and female students with limited income on the waiting list who have met the registration conditions where she works. The Foundation provides them with academic seats according to the academic vacancies available in private schools or in the schools of the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Charitable Education Foundation.
She explained that the institution is still receiving applications from people with limited income to enroll in free education, as the institution studies all cases and places them on a waiting list in preparation for accepting them at the beginning of the new academic year.
