Al -Suwaidi pointed out that the UAE has achieved many successes in the aviation sector, especially during the year 2024, driven by the global reputation that the Emirati aviation sector gained, as a result of the level of unprecedented services and high safety levels in the sector, after it was one of the first countries that recovered quickly after a pandemic. Al -Suwaidi stressed that the UAE will continue to pump investments in the infrastructure of the aviation sector, revealing that all Emirati airlines have plans for employment during the current year, based on their various needs, operational plans, and new aircraft that they receive, as well Air. Al -Suwaidi considered that the growth in the aviation sector will be accompanied by a parallel growth for almost the same in demand for employees and human resources to work in the sector, including airlines, airports and others.

He revealed that the percentage of citizens in the aviation sector varies according to specializations, as their percentage in the air navigation sector, for example, reaches 40% of the total workers in that sector, stressing that the number of citizens in the sector continues to increase the steady increase, in line with the increase in the number of workers as a whole in the sector .

He continued: “The main challenge in Emiratisation is that the growth of job demand cannot keep pace with the numbers of citizens, and therefore the dependence on modern technology in the human resources sector is increasing.”

Al -Suwaidi affirmed the permanent endeavor of the number of citizens in the aviation sector through many initiatives, including initiatives related to educating young people in schools and universities on job opportunities in the aviation sector, as well as opening specializations for a master’s degree in law sciences, aviation, and professorships, in cooperation with universities , Like Sharjah University.

Al -Suwaidi stated that the conference witnessed more than 35 dialogue sessions within three days, including sessions at the ministerial level, stressing that the UAE has made contributions that will form an important turn in the future of international aviation.

He said that the world faces many challenges and shortcomings in finding human resources that contribute to the management of the aviation sector, and maintaining high levels of safety and security in the sector, especially since the growth in the aviation sector is not matched by growth in the outputs of the educational institutions sector, academies and training, pointing to also to A great disparity between human resources outputs and the needs of the labor market in aviation, and therefore the UAE presented the idea of ​​relying on modern technology, especially artificial intelligence and “Internet of Things”.
