The International Tennis Federation promoted the Fujairah International Youth Championship to the classification (j100) and gave it the logo of the identifying star that is given to the best tournaments around the world in appreciation of the high-quality organizational, technical and competitive image that appeared in the last edition organized in January of this year.
The Emirates Tennis Federation received the official certificate from the International Federation granted to the Fujairah Championship with the identifying star logo, which reflects its leading position among the rest of the distinguished tournaments.
For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Tennis Club, Abdul Ghafour Al-Awadhi, extended thanks and appreciation to the Board of Directors of the Emirates Tennis Federation, headed by Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, and told “Emirates Today”: “This reflects the strength of the club’s infrastructure, and the joint efforts of the game federation and the club.” He added that it is “a strong push towards further work to consolidate the gains achieved.”
