He pointed out that «the market depends on the presence of farms to produce predators, whose owners offer their small animals for sale with a value starting from 1000 dirhams for the cub, for example. The price rises with the bidding on it, reaching fold by some merchants. ”

He explained that the merchants ultimately offer the animal for sale to those looking for fame, boasting and showing off the acquisition of predators, illegally. In this way, these animals reach the owners of farms, villas and homes, without having any knowledge of their upbringing, nutrition, health, safety, and prevention of their danger.

He added that raising predators in villas and farms is illegal, as they pose a threat to their breeders and the public.

He said: «I received many cases about the attack of predators from black, tigers and pads on children, because the predatory animal sees the child an easy goal for him, which leads to children with varying injuries, as a result of touching them with predators, or being bitten.

He continued: «I also received stories from farm owners that their workers were attacked by predators, including a serious attack by a lioness …

He stated that most of the animals that are raised on farms and residential villas are black, tigers and leopards, and that predators are acquired to show off and photograph them, and publish clips via social media to obtain the highest followers and fans, but after the animal grows, control is lost, therefore His owners are trying to get rid of him in several ways, including his execution, sale, or display for free to zoos, pointing out that during the past two years, the park received more than 20 predators of lions, leopards and tigers, and their owners abandoned them after they lost control of them.

He stated that the garden he owns has an agreement with the competent authorities, stipulating that anyone with a predatory animal wants to get rid of, brings it to the garden to take care of it, with its owner pledged not to claim it again.

He added that most of those who acquired predators were ordinary people, who have the financial ability to buy, but they do not have enough experience to deal with them.

He explained that small predators are placed in chicken jabs, and it does not provide a place of residence for them, which leads to their escape by jumping from the wall of the villa or farm in search of freedom, and some feed them unhealthy, which leads to exposure to malnutrition, and make them more animals Risk, as she is looking for eating, and may attack her owner or anyone else in the place.
