The Director of the Public Services Branch of the Support Services Department at Sharjah Police, Citizen First Lieutenant Engineer Hanadi Khalifa Al Kabouri, contributed to inventing and manufacturing smart passages for sterilization, and replacing the chemicals that were used to sterilize individuals with environmentally friendly materials, to ensure that they are not exposed to any harm, and the gates were installed in 40 locations. Affiliated with the police and government departments in the emirate.
Engineer Hanadi Al Kabouri is considered one of the competencies of the Sharjah Police, and she was able to increase the sterilization gates in the emirate, and circulate the idea to all departments, security centers, and some government departments, until it now serves 13,000 community members daily in tents designated for testing residents for the Corona virus, police personnel, and customers.
Al-Kabouri told Emirates Today that she had created sterilization gates to ensure the continuation of police service operations at the Sharjah Police General Command, and its various centers spread across the emirate’s regions, with the required quality during the “Corona” crisis, in order to preserve the safety of the police cadres and those dealing with them.
She explained that the “Corona” pandemic made her think about a new way to exploit the public police’s workshops, which have all the capabilities and equipment necessary to manufacture sterilization gates, noting that with the help of a team from her management consisting of five people, they began implementing a simplified model for sterilization gates, and were able to invent the first gate for sterilizing individuals. It was placed in one of the leadership’s sites, and the portals were developed over the past months until they reached a new, modern, high-quality model that competes with companies specialized in this field.
She continued: “While monitoring the work of the sterilization gates, it became clear that there are people who do not care about the idea of sterilization, and pass by them quickly, which led them to develop the gates, place a barrier inside them that forces passers-by to stand, and provide them with a tube to sterilize the entire person by rotating 360 degrees.”
She pointed out that the beginning was by installing sterilization gates in the police service centers, and then their scope was expanded and placed in external examination centers, which receive customers, to serve members of the community, and in tents designated for testing residents for the Corona virus, until 13,000 police and community members benefited from them daily. .
She continued: “The idea of sterilization corridors was developed by replacing chemicals with environmentally friendly materials,” indicating that people were afraid to pass through them more than once, thinking that they would harm their eyes or bodies, which made them communicate with companies specialized in sterilization materials, and developing solutions that sterilize individuals. And make it environmentally friendly.
